For a bit of dimension, I put my CB and swiss dots EF to work on my kraft panel. To finish it all up, I just added a few Sweet Prima paper flowers topped with a couple of Fun little buttons all tied up with some Yummy Bakers twine from Sweet N Sassy Stamps. Pretty easy peasy, huh? 8-)

Warm Winter Wishes... 8-)

Hi All! and a Very Happy Friday to you! Today I'm back to share my latest creation and to let everyone know  that there are still 4 more days to help K 'n K Designs raise funds for Operation Write Home! 8-)
For those of you who aren't familiar with Operation Write Home, they are a non-profit group that collects handmade cards (over a million, so far!!) to send to our soldiers deployed overseas.  Some of them are Any Hero cards that we write in to say "thanks for serving!", but most of the cards are left blank so the soldiers can send them back to their families and friends stateside.  It's a fantastic organization!!  But, in order to send the thousands of cards that will go out during the holidays, they could really use some extra funds for shipping, and that is where two digi designers would like to help.  Katlyn, of KnK Designs has teamed up with Deedee Anderson to offer 7 digi sets that are perfect for your OWH cards - or any cards, for that matter!  All of the proceeds for these sets (minus the paypal fees, of course!) will be donated to OWH.  Every bit of it!  You can buy the sets separately or in a bundle - Go check out K 'n K Designs for all the details!!
So without further delay, here's my Cards featuring just one of the Adorable digi sets available to you all, created exclusively for OWH's Fund Raiser.
I printed out my Adorable little Teddy Bear Designed by DeeDee Anderson, onto Flourishes Classic White and colored him up with my trusty Copics of course. My BG mats and layers were made up with a combination of various MME dp's. my Snowy Window was created with he help of my Labels Three Nesties set and a bit of emboss resist Flourishes snowflakes.. First I embossed my snowflakes with Snow Cap EP and then sponged on a bit of Tumbled Glass, and Stormy Skies Distress inks over top and created my window's snowy scene. The rest is pretty simple.. I fussy cut my Sweet Teddy Bear out, and popped him up with a few dimensional. I printed out my sentiment from the same digi set onto my hand cut, inked tag and added a fun little button all tied up with some Yummy baker's Twine from MAD Stamper Finds.
I sure hope you'll stop by K 'n K Designs to see all the wonderful stamp sets available to purchase to help out OWH keep our heroes in touch with home.

Snow Very Thankful For You...

Hi All! And a very Happy Wednesday to you! Today I'm back with a Sweet little creation inspired by Operations Write Home's Stars & Stamps Midweek Throwdown Challenge and the K 'n K Designs OWH Fundraiser as well.
K n' K Designs is sponsoring a fund raiser to help pay for postage for Operation Write Home's busy holiday season.  This Darling Patriotic Snowman digital stamp set I used on my card today was created by DeeDee Anderson is one of the fabulous sets being offered for sale & all the proceeds will go to OWH.

I printed out my sweet little Patriotic Snowman onto Flourishes Classic White and colored him up with my trusty Copics of course, and the help of a white gel pen to emphasize the stars. My BG was made using a new technique, to me anyway,  that I have been wanting to try for a while now, emboss resist...  I embossed my Flourishes snowflakes with Snow Cap EP and then sponged on a bit of Tumbled Glass, and Stormy Skies Distress inks over top...  Not too shabby for my first attempt, lol  but next time I will add more snowflakes.. lol.  It seemed a little spars to me so I added a few punched snowflakes popped up with some tiny pieces of foam tape. The rest is pretty simple.. I partially cut out my Sweet Snowman, tore the edges of the CS and added an additional torn scrap of CS, in front, colored up the torn edge with the help of my BG0000 Copic marker and did a bit more popping up of layers with more foam tape.. I printed out my sentiment from the same digi set, matted everything up with some Deep Red CS from my stash and lastly added a few adhesive peals to finish it all up.
I hope you'll stop by K 'n K Designs to see all the wonderful stamp sets available to purchase to help out Operation Write Home keep our heroes in touch with home.  I also hope you'll have time to play in our Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps Midweek Throwdown challenge!

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas..

Hi All! And a very Happy Saturday to you!  Hope you all had a Fantastic week! Believe it or not, it's been a busy but fun one for me.. I know it may not look that way since I have not posted anything since last Saturday, lol but I promise, you will get to see what I've been working on in the next few days.. 8-) Well, today I'm back with another Super Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge. Yay! And continuing on with our Bast from the Past sketches for the Month of October we have Sweet Stop Sketch #130 for you that was originally The Sweet Stop Sketch # 26! And as this is the Third Saturday of the month, we have a fun Spin too, which means there's a $10 SNSS GC up for grabs to one very lucky winner!  How Cool is that! you can use it on anything you'd like! 8-) Our spin is "Let's Recycle" So make sure to incorporate some recycling into your card/creation and join in the fun!...8-)  So, without further delay.... Here is the Sweet Stop Sketch #130  for this week:

And here's my Festive Christmasy take on it.. 8-)

I printed out my Sweet little Rhubarb Santa image onto Flourishes Classic White and colored him up with my trusty Copics and added a little liquid applique to his Cute little Santa Hat. I fussy cut him out and popped him up with a few dimensional onto a  layered Classic Circles Nestie die cut that was left over from a project from last Christmas, I knew I would find a way to use this in a future creation. Yay! 8-) I matted up my layered classic Circle with the help of my Scalloped Circles Nestie set and some Basic Grey Wassail dp's. For the rest of my mats and BG layers I chose a combination of Kraft CS from my stash and another left over matted up BG panel also from last Christmas, and also using Basic Grey Wassail dp's. Sure wish I had got more than one pack of this set. It's still one of my all time favorite Christmas dp's, also probably the reason I refused to get rid of any left overs or scraps.. lol. My I/O Sentiment pieces were actually cut out of a scrap of stamped CS that I used for a bit of BG on a previous project from, you guessed it, last Christmas, lol.  To finish it all up, I added some Sweet crochet flowers from MAD Stamper Finds all  topped off with a few Sweet vintage pearl brads from my stash.
Here are a couple pics of the inside, as this is another Gift card holder too.. You could also use it to hold Tea bags, or a pack of Cocoa or even Sweet Ghirardelli Chocolate squares as well..

Anyway, I hope you can play along with us at The Sweet Stop!  Can't wait to see what you all come up with for this weeks sketch.  And as always, please, make sure to stop by and take a peek at the Beautiful creations the rest of the Sweet Stop Sugar Babies have whipped up for your inspiration.
